Being, feeling, thinking and living like Jesus Christ. Practicing a cognitive-behavioral life-style of loving-kindness as demonstrated by Christ Jesus and his early followers--e.g., Paul. The Bible/Scripture is used as a tutor for learning how to love God, self and others like Jesus did.  We live by three simple rules: Do no harm, do good, and stay in love with God.  (Matt 22:36-40; 2Tim 3:16; Gal 5-6).

Mindfulness...

is defined as an expanded and/or focused intentional  awareness of the moment involving both internal and external perception & cognition. Becoming skilled in mindfulness involves formal and informal training or practice. Mindfulness employs brain functions of attention, awareness, and intentional action, which is non-condemning and compassionate towards self and others. It is a transforming mindset from “Right and Wrong” to “Skilled vs. Unskilled in Compassion,” or “loving vs. less-than Loving thoughts and behaviors” (Rom 12: 1-2…; Matt 5-7). Christ-like Mindfulness training combines brain based cognitive-behavioral Christian transformational disciplines with mindfulness meditations in order to transform the brain and sanctify the mind in and through the grace of God.

Fellowship

We are called to develop a Fellowship of Followers of Christ who meet in small groups, home churches, and at retreats. We support each other in growing in Christ with the prayerful intent of making Jesus known to all who want more intimacy with God and a transformed world.

Jesus prayed…“I’m praying not only for them but also for those who will believe in me because of them and their witness about me. The goal is for all of them to become one heart and mind—just as you, Father, are in me and I in you, so they might be one heart and mind with us. “Then the world might believe that you, in fact, sent me. The same glory you gave me, I gave them, so they’ll be as unified and together as we are—I in them and you in me. Then they’ll be mature in this oneness, and give the godless world evidence that you’ve sent me and loved them in the same way you’ve loved me.”Excerpt From: Eugene H. Peterson. “The Message.”Jn 17: 20-23
